    The Manly Savers Juniors is made up of a combined group of players in the Manly district from ages 13's to Opens. This program is designed and supported to foster a pathway from juniors into Colts and Seniors at the Marlins or Savers so players can always play for fun with their mates or aim for higher dreams.

    About Manly Savers Juniors

    Manly Savers is committed to helping our younger players discover a lifelong passion for rugby, with Manly Savers Juniors formed in 2022 and fielding teams from Under 13’s to Under 18’s (Opens). Junior rugby players who played in Under 6’s to Under 12’s for the four local Manly Village clubs (Allambie Jets, Harbord Harlequins, Manly Roos and Seaforth Raiders), come together from Under 13’s as Manly Savers Juniors, with the aggregation of these clubs aimed at improving player retention in rugby union as players enter their high school years.

    Manly Savers Junior’s on-field emphasis is on boys and girls trying their best, having fun and playing to win; while off the field the focus is on nurturing the true family friendly spirit of Rugby.

    Our Mission

    • Create a safe, supportive and fun-learning environment that fosters the development of rugby skills and where each players strengthens their love to the game, and has the opportunity of achieving their team and personal goals, regardless of age, gender, cultural background or ability;
    • Provide its juniors players with camaraderie and a positive rugby experience while providing coaching of proper skill development, team participation and fun;
    • Engage with the local community to raise Rugby’s profile;
    • Ensure coaches help build good character by: helping each player gain self-confidence, teach good sportsmanship and to respect everyone regardless of their background, skills, age or positions.
    • Foster a pathway from Juniors into Colts and Seniors at the Manly Marlins or Savers so players can always play for fun with their mates or aim for higher dreams.

    Game days

    Manly Savers Juniors play on Sundays, with all home games at Keirle Park, Manly. Training days and locations are team and/or age group specific, depending on field availability and coach preferences. Manly Savers Juniors typically use Keirle Park (Manly), Bantry Bay Oval (Seaforth) and Denzil Joyce Oval (North Curl Curl) for training throughout the season

    If you would like to register with Manly Savers Juniors, please do so via Rugby Xplorer @ https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/ and click ‘Register’. When registering, please make sure you register with Manly Savers Junior Rugby Club (not Manly Savers Rugby Club – this is for Seniors).
