It was always going to be a tight one against the Mosman Whales with both sides looking to be in the finals this season. The Savers had their chance near the end of the match and opted for a scrum to hopfully cross the line to seal the win, they fell short. Mosman were awarded a penalty of their own at the end to take the victory.
